WHO WE ARE 


The Mozambican Association of Renewable Energies is a non-profit association whose mission is to promote renewable energies in Mozambique.


VISION


  • For economic and environmental reasons, AMER believes that Mozambique and the planet will benefit from the rapid development of renewable energy resources and that our country can and should be a leader in this development.

VALUES


    • Promote the collection, treatment and dissemination of information relev​ant to the renewable energy sector;

    • Promote the development of research, studies and projects of interest to the renewable energy sector;
      ​
    • Convene meetings and hold technical, economic and scientific events;​

    • Promote legal and technical support in sectors where AMER is authorized to do so;
      ​
    • Support official bodies and other entities, preparing recommendations and proposing the adoption of relevant measures for the sector;
      ​
    • Raising funds to carry out the proposed activities, as well as for Associate projects.​
​GOALS


    • Represent the interests of Members, acting as the common voice of the Renewable Energy sector in Mozambique;
      ​
    • Promote awareness and dissemination of the use and appreciation of renewable natural resources for sustainable development;
      ​
    • Act as an interlocutor with political, economic and social decision-making bodies, as well as any other national bodies or groups;​

    • Promote the development of the Renewable Energy market and projects in Mozambique.
